Instructions for using the Forgiveness Prayer

This Process is between you and God so See with your Eyes, Speak with your Mouth and Hear it with your Ears. Expect God will Hear and answer your prayer. The offense and Offender will become neutral memories which Can be released from current retrieval no more to affect your todays.

STEPS OF FORGIVENESS

1. Father God, I come to you in the name of Jesus, and as an act of my own will, in obedience to your word, I CHOOSE TO FORGIVE _________________ for... (hurting me, disappointing me, betraying me, lying to me, wounding me, for not loving me the way I wanted, etc.)
(LIST EVERY SPECIFIC OFFENSE YOU CAN REMEMBER)

2. Father, I ask you to forgive ___________________ and not to hold anything against him/her on my account. I release all desire for vengeance.

3. Father, I also choose not to hold any unforgiveness toward you for allowing these disappointments, wounds, and hurts to happen to me. So I forgive you because I need to, not because you need it.

4. Father God, I ask you to forgive me for all the unforgiveness, bitterness, resentment, anger, etc. that I’ve held In my heart against _____________________ I confess it as sin and ask you to cleanse me and release me from all unrighteousness. Thank you Lord, I receive your forgiveness now in Jesus’ name.

5. Father God, if there are any more stored negative feelings in me toward ___________________ I repent and desire to be free of them. I ask that you cleanse them from me. I am open to replace these negative emotions with the fruit of your Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, etc.)(Galatians 5:22).

6. Heavenly Father, I ask you to heal all these hurtful memories, touch all the wounded places in my soul, and help me to put on the mind of Christ, Lord, I pray that when I look back on these hurtful experiences they will no longer carry the painful feelings and emotions they once did, but will be neutral memories.

7. Now, Father, I ask that you bless ____________________ with your abundant mercy. Extend your hand of grace to ________________ and prosper him/her in Christ Jesus. Lord, heal the hurts in his/her own heart, and help him/her to see you in a new and intimate way. I commit _________ to your tender dare and ask you to bring him/her into a deep, abiding walk with you.

CONTINUE TO ASK GOD TO BLESS AND PROSPER THIS PERSON UNTIL ALL THE NEGATIVE EMOTIONS HAVE BEEN HEALED, IF YOU FEEL CERTAIN TWINGES OF RESIDUE EMOTION COME UP, USE THIS AS A CUE TO INTERCEDE & BLESS THEM.
